Project Outline
TMP Interiors were engaged by HERO-X to support the design and build of their new circa 3800sqft functional fitness gym space.
Hero-X offers first class functional fitness and hybrid style training including CrossFit, HYROX, Personal Training and Open gym sessions. The gym boasts a full Rogue fitness specification for all its Olympic lifting and BLK BOX fitness specification including a custom designed gymnastics rig.
The client’s brief on the project was to convert the existing car garage into a modern, premium fitness site where typically other facilities generally lack the quality that is demanded in the higher end.
Scope of Works
Following a collaborative tender period TMP Interiors were appointment a broad scope which included structural alteration to introduce curtain walling allowing large volumes of natural light in to the space, Mezzanine floor, Mechanical and electrical services, CCTV, Fire alarm, zonal AV installation throughout client facing areas, suspended ceiling systems, drywall partitioning systems, acoustic double glazed partitioning, washroom and general joinery, floor finishes and installation of gym equipment.
Outcome
The works were delivered on time, within budget and the client was extremely happy with the result. The space has been completed to a very high, client facing standard, excellent design features, the space has been maximised and boasts great acoustics with substantial natural light into the building.
